Bulk Plastics

Just wondering where people buy their plastics in bulk?

Would love to just go buy a bag or two of berkley power worms at 50-100 count. Or Some yammamoto baits in bulk...just can't seem to find anyone who sells that.

Stamina seems to have some good plastics that they sell in bulk...anyone ever use any of these? Are they scented or salted? They offer pretty much every type of bass plastic so I was thinking of spending some cash there unless anyone knows where to get bulk namebrand plastics...

Or maybe I am off base and should just go there?

For a winter excursion you should take a trip down to

Berkley factory outlet in Spirit Lake, IA. They have all kinds

of plastics in hundred paks also seconds and unique colors

for sale. Plus rods, reels etc. Just about everything Pure Fishing sells. I think its called Fishermans Factory Warehouse.

or something similar. Their saying is"fish don't know what you paid for it" or something like that. I believe they have a HSOforum too.

Fleet Farm does have the 7" worms in various colors in bulk, 100 count bags.

Another option to keep in mind is Christopherson's baits up in Alexandria, Minnesota. I'm a huge fan of their plastics and are at a fraction of the cost of Gary Yamamoto baits.

As of last year they did not have a web site. It is worth the drive though, but I would wait till spring to go. Christophersons prices are very good too. Last year I bought 50 count bags of senkos for $14.99. Their plastics are very good quality too.

I believe Zoom allows you to buy in bulk from their web. Also, I used to buy bulk plastics heavily discounted that were "seconds". Pick through and you could always find quite a few that were perfectly fine, and rest made good trailers etc....

This may come thru as a double post, as I lost the site again. Christophersons does not have a web-site, but Dana will work with you at the store to get what ever they have sent to you I'm sure... he has in the past. I stop in there a couple times per week to have coffee and chat... There is still a good selection of bulk plastics. However, if you wait until spring I bet there will be more... Any how if your like me, no matter how good the plastic is I just can not seem to entice those green devils to come up thru the ice and take it... I know they are down there, but just cann't trigger the strike grin.gif

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
