TRANSPORTING DOGS IN DOG TRAILER

HAS ANY ONE HEARD OF ANY ONE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH TRANSPORTING DOGS IN A DOG TRAILER.

WE ARE GOING TO SD IN A WEEK AND I AM WOORIED ABOUT CARBON MONOXIDE FROM THE TRUCK EXHAUST,

IF ANY ONE CAN COMMENT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICATED

I would make sure that there is plenty of ventilation, while moving I would doubt that you would have any problems, but obviously don't leave the truck running while getting food ect. I have transported my dogs in trailers many times with zero problems. Good luck in SD.

I would not be concerned with carbon monoxide at all. Most of it would go right into the air before it came into the trailer. I would be more concerned about dogs in a back of a pick-up with a topper as oppossed to a trailer. If you had a leaky exhaust under the vehicle some carbon monoxide could possibly get into the topper. Really, I don't think you have to worry about either if you have some ventilation.

I transport up to 7 dogs in a cargo trailer that is properly ventilated. This is a perfectly fine way to transport dogs with the proper ventiliation. I found cargo trailers are better than actual dog trailers for transportation dogs. Just my 2 cents.
