Ithaca parts?

I am looking for a slide assembly for my Ithaca Model 51 12 gauge. I know that Ithaca parts can be hard to find, but I thought I'd try here. Does anybody know where I can find a slide assembly for this?

Parts will be harder and harder to come by, you likely know Ithica went belly up for the second and last time this Summer. Heard they were selling off the furniture and fixtures at the plant, so I think this time the 'ole girl is dead.

I found a butt plate on line, and Shotgun News is always a good place to look. Sorry wasn't much help....

A piece of metal broke off of the slide assembly. only about 1/2" long. would this be something that a gunsmith could fix?

I doubt it for liability reasons. Try PAGUNPARTS (Contact US Regarding This Word) and email them, they might have something. Was in a gunshop not too long ago and they had a catalog of old parts from a big warehouse - just can't remember the name

I'd hit the web and some long time gunsmith shops and suspect you'll find what you need.

Thanks for the leads. I still couldn't find anything. I tried gunbroker, e-gunparts & Old Western Scrounger. Does anyone else have any places that I could check? Possibly somebody that makes (or will make) aftermarket parts?
