JIvers
Quote: Does anyone know if they caught any fish? Crabs, maybe. In all seriousness, this latest incident in what has turned in to a train wreck of a season has actually made me embarassed to be a Vikings fan. I live in a town that is more of a Bears town than anything else (don't ask about college football!), but I don't have a problem wearing Vikings stuff out in public, even in a losing year. This though, is just embarassing. Losing on the field is one thing, as is cutting loose with some women and booze, but harassing a bunch of kids trying to make a living is quite another. If it was just one or two players getting in a brawl at a convenience store at three a.m. I could write it off,(oh wait...), but seventeen freaking players? This organization is a mess--I won't be wearing any Vikings gear out in public for a while.
Buckslayer
Hold on here guys, life is rough being a professional athlete....Making multiple millions every year.....every little kid looks up to you...etc. Look at all the pressures they face, it must be really hard to stay out of trouble and not screw up or get arrested JUST ONCE! I think I am going to watch golf and Nascar from now on. I am sick of watching the rest of these (Contact US Regarding This Word) jump and dance around! Windy City Walleye Hunter
To answer the question about whether they caught any fish, no it only smelled like they did. Remember, there are only two things that smell like fish...AND ONE OF THEM IS FISH!

SledNeck
Its obvious that the Minneapolis media absolutely hates Minnesota pro sports, with the exception of Sid Hartman (part of the time). They just wait for slip ups (minor or major) and then they let em have it. When you read the front page of the star trib sports section (opinion) its nothing but negativity...be it against the twins, vikes or wolves. Im suprised some of these guys still can walk. If I was one of the athletes they rip apart in the paper, id stomp a mudhole in their a$$. Living in other places around the nation... Ive YET to see a home town newspaper be so hateful toward their teams.
