Jeremy airjer W
I just returned from a visit to the strike master facility in big lake. My hats off to the Gentlemen that helped me out. I had a suspicion that my auger drill was bent were the blades mounted and they confermed my suspicion. according to the jig it was about a 1/4 inch off. No I don't wan't to tell how it happened! In less than fifteen minutes they had me fixed and ready for the ice. I broke out the wallet and asked how much they said no charge! I could see easily charging $15 to $20 dollars for the service (it sure beats having to replace the drill). I persistantly pushed a tip his way and it was finally accepted after he handed me a booklet, stickers and told me to grab a can of fish batter on the way out. Thanks for your help and great service! Its nice to have a Minnesota company with a quality product and helpfull staff in your backyard!
wallydiver
I agree. I bought the 9" triple blade but it didn't cut right. I stopped in and they gave me a choice of an 8", another 9" or a 10". No questions asked. Plus some extras. Excellent customer service.
Jim Hudson
airjer and wallydiverGlad you guys got things taken care of...but I am not suprised as the StrikeMaster company is on the leading edge for customer service!!!
wolfman-k
I really think they 'get it'. If your customers are happy, you're going to be happy because they will tell others about their positive experience and that brings in more customers. The few times I have been to their shop, I have left with my auger problems solved, and the begging question, "Why doesn't every business treat it's customers that way?". Great job Strikemaster! The Grebe
We had a really old Strikemaster that we wanted to use as a back up auger....there was something broken in the recoil,we took it to them, they checked it out and because the unit was so old and still in use, they gave us the piece we needed, NC! That was'nt the first time either, we have been in there before and came away with very positive results....thats a good company to deal with! Very good! gorrilla
I wholeheartedly agree guys, that shop up in Big Lake has the best costumer service and products bar none. I've driven there 2-3 hours one way before(didn't have time to mail it in cuz the fish were biting) in bad mood and have always left there in a very happy and impressed condition. My Strikemaster is 21 years old and still going strong thanks to them (and I fish 5-6 times a week almost all the winter). With my new lazer shaft I've raced and beat all the Jiffy and Eskimo's I've come in contact with as well.
Captain B.R.K
Though I'm sure they are "tuned" to the HSOforum, make sure thatHUGE thanks gets back to them. I'm sure they'd appreciate hearing about all the good things they do because you darn well they hear about all the bad things that happen.Nothing but the best from Strikemaster!
