Jeremy airjer W
I finally got the low-down from chrysler. They said that in order to Not void any warranty on the motor you have to use the approved E-85 oil. Part number 4318086 at about $6.00 a quart. Froggy4371
Just to let you all know E-85 is great but it does not work in all vehicles. I do run it in my but only at about a 50/50 blend with regular gas. If I run only E-85 my truck runs like dump. But you can blend it and you will also pick up gas milage but like what was said it might void your warranty.Froggy
Gus
Man, I wish my little car or my truck could run e85. Just for kicks, I took a look at my manual in my 02 mazda and it specifically says that I cannot use more than 10% ethonel or I risk damage to the engine. Ok, I can live with that I guess. But my biggest question is, What do I do when the government mandate goes into effect making the ethonol content jump to 20%????
mtreno
my understanding was some stations were already to the 20% mark. i know for a fact my truck runs like dump when i get gas from holiday and they ran adds years back about how they used more corn then anyone else. is that true - wonder if it says anywhere on the pump.....
