tomfromblaine
Is anybody else stuck around the house or work? or is it just me. Man I've been a slave to my house finnising the basement, getting the wife's business up and running for like the last month and a half, a great boat calling my name just sitting in the driveway, and of course all I can think about is the fall bite wondering where the fish are going to be and kickin' back by the camp fire at night with a beverage jeez I'm killin' myself here. somebody please tell me I'm not the only one. Surface Tension
No your not alone. I moved the boats out of the driveway to make room for dumpsters, delivery trucks and to remove the temptation. Once I get the shingles on the second story roof the boats are coming back home and I'll be fishing again. There'll still be a lot of work to do but that can wait. Redlantern
I'm stuck. Was suppposed to go to the cabin for my birthday in August but sold my house and bought another one, next weekend had to take the kids to the fair, this weekend I have to pack all my stuff so I can be ready to move on the 14th. It'll be worth it when I'm done but right now it bites. On the upside, I didn't have to spend $120 for gas and sit in traffic.
icehousebob
I'm a boiler engineer at a hospital so I'm stuck working the night shift. I also run a tree service as a part time business and had an emergency call to take a maple off a roof, so there goes my daylight hours. As I was changing over from one job to the next, two of my sons came by from two days of fishing flatheads on the St. Croix. The only upside is that tomorrow is double time and a half holiday pay. Just think of the things my bride can spend it on!!

The Grebe
I had a reprieve yesterday, so today is grocery day, gas up the trucks and equipment day, (Ouch). Today is quarterly tax filing day, balancing the books and closing out last months business day. Today is fixing equipment for tommarrow, doing maintainence, and scheduling day. Yup, today is pretty much a stay at home day and besides, my wife has a sore back, so I can't stray far. I have some of it done already, even squeezed in time to put a couple of new swivel seats in the boat. I'll keep plugging away until I run out of gas and then I'll figure out what comes next (ZZZZZZZZ)! It's not like I don't get out alot, because I do, but yes, you are not alone today. tomfromblaine
Well we got a ride home from a state trooper today, we were a couple of miles from home on hiway 10 and the wifes van decided to take a break, lucky thing I been payin' for that towing service for the last 6 years I finally got to use it I don't think we were on the side of the road more than 15 minutes and that included the intial phone call, so that part went ok, van went directly to the dealer. I think starting today I will compensate myself 1 extra day of fishing and camp fires for everyday that turns out like today what do you guys think?
