Pikemaster101
For anyone that has this unit is it any good? WHat are some good and bad thingfs about it?
0 Doonbuggy
I would check the power connection and see how sturdy or flimsy the cord is. I had a 480 last year and the connection was a flimsy cord that didn't last a month. Maybe this unit is different. I moved to a Lowrance X-125 with two locking collars for a much more secure fit.Eagles offer a lot for the money but if the power connection won't last it's moot. If the unit is in a package I'd ask to open it up so you can inspect first hand - that's where I went wrong, didn't even both to look at it.DB
0 blakjack23
I have a fishmark 320 and I agree with Doon, it does have a flimsy cord, but I have had mine two years and it has held up just fine. I am happy with it for the price I paid. 10 times better then the POS Hummingbird that came with my boat.
0 Surface Tension
For a little more money you can jump up to FishMark 480.The power connection looks a little iffy but I haven't had a problem with mine and it gets removed from the boat after every use.
