I have been fishing with a Vex-fl-18 Genz pack and was able to get two days out of the battery yesterday I used a new Marcum LX-3 from 9:00 to 5:30 and noticed that the battery indicater said that there was 10% left I know it has more power is this about normal.

It should be closer to 20 hrs. I have fished the entire weekend on one charge.

Typically for a long day of fishing my battery is only running down to 60-70%.

Sounds like a bad battery. I'd check your battery with a voltmeter. It should be reading 13.5 - 14 at full charge.

Did you get the %10 with the unit running? It seems with mine that I get the best reading when it has been turned off for a couple of minutes, I don't think it is very accurate when it is one.
