What Anchor????

looking 4 a 30

Question

I have replaced my dig in style anchor for a Rictor, anybody have any luck with this one???? My friend has one and it seemed to hold decent. My main reason for switching was getting my dig in anchor to catch and hold, it took a long time and would not always hold. Well I will let you guys know how it all turns out, will try on Mille Lacs this weekend.

Put a short length of heavy chain on your dig anchor and it will dig a heck of a lot better.. If I am correct, the dig anchor are similar to the Water-Spike type. The things hold great once they dig in.. its getting them to dig in.. the chain helps.

I have an 18# Richtor for my Crestliner 1750 and it works. The river guide I fished with this spring loves the Water Spike anchor. He advice was if you get a Water Spike, get the large sized one.
