Funny, if a certain team scored a 2nd and 6th they would be moving up. I think it was a good race for the 5 and 25 and they will be good soon.

Nascar was smart they changed the points format so other teams would have a chance against the Hendrick stud stable if they had not changed it Hendrick would have went 1,2 in 2005.

Your right, with the old system Kurt Busch would not have won the cup last year, but he would have two years prior to that. Anyways, that issue has been played and replayed as to who would have done what with each. Kurt Busch won the cup fair and square with the same rules that everyone else had to play with. Period.

I mean it is smart to have two rookies team together and Gordon and Johnson together. Saves a lot of testing dates for the two teams Hendrick really cares about anyway!

Lee, I can't tell you how rare and refreshing it is to see a #8/DEI loyal fan who can see reality! I have said time and again I don't dislike Jr. or DEI, but the VAST majority of his fans have him and that organization so high on a pedestal that they are just beyond absurd in their comments. I'm a DEI fan pretty much because of daddy. However, I'm not wearing rose colored glasses. DEI is a mess right now.

They should be looking at Rousch and Hendrick to see how a team operates.
