JohnMickish
That arrogant little S.O.B finally got himself kicked out for good this time. He really showed some talent but but was way to cocky for everybodys good. You all know he was under contract to DEI, don't you? Another blow to the body.Anyways, I think the world will be better without him in a racecar.

OUTDOORNUT
The world is a better place without this DOPE, or maybe CRACKHEAD. He has to make Daddy proud! I bet the old man begged, kicked and cried to get his punk kid back in and this is what he gets for it! Hopefully this was his last straw with NASCAR. NASCAR doesn't need to follow in the steps of the NFL, rid him of the sport forever!
Uncle Bill
Anyone care to venture a guess as to what the banned substance would be ??Is'nt Shane "The meal worm" Hmiel's father the new crew chief for little "e" ?? The kid and his substance abuse problem must be just a little distracting for dear ol dad, wouldn't you think.
lawdog
I'm guessing Marijuana. Most of the other drugs stay in your system a very short period and its harder to catch them on a UA. He always seemed like maybe an amphetamine guy to me, real wired, but I have a hard time believing he'd actually try driving while on anything and that's why I'm guessing it was THC. Never know though, the kid is obviously stupid so he may have tried to drive cranked up... I see a lot of druggies in court and he doesn't really fit the standard profile, but he's obviously got issues...
sirsunnyslayer
Hey Lawdog, the first time he got kicked out was when he did a major stupid move in a Busch race. He was called in for a wizquiz right after the race and suspended that week. What a bonehead.
OUTDOORNUT
Lawdog,I'm guessing he was into Coke, someone with that much money to [PoorWordUsage] away, isn't going to mess with dope. He thought he was living the Rockers dream...get noticed, catch a break, hit the drugs, women and booze. Except he is so stupid he can't keep his mouth shut, got into some trouble on the track and got noticed by NASCAR. I'm betting Jarrett has to have a smile on his face from ear to ear! I would be surprised if it were Mary Jane. You would no more then I on how long these drugs stay in a persons system but if he's on a 2 day bender of Coke/Crack or Crystal Meth "the biggest problem we have today as far as drugs go" And he's called into the office for UA on Weds/Thurs he's going to be caught. lawdog
Here is the only reason I was thinking weed. They apparently tested him and then still let him race, so he must not have been real high at the time or I just don't see them letting him out. That's why I was thinking something that he'd been on the week before when they felt there was a problem that made them test, and a week is too long for many things to show up...I really have no clue, just thinking out loud I guess. eyepatrol
I'm not much of a Hmeil fan myself, and my wife likes him even less. Still, and this is just my opinion here, but if someone gets caught violating the substance abuse policy, they should be suspended for the rest of the year. Make it mandatory that they enroll in some drug abuse program. Allow them to return the following year with the agreement of being randomly tested. If they test positive any time after they come back, as Hmeil did, suspend them for the rest of the year, plus the following year. Have them enrolled again in a drug program, and have random testing during the time period in which they serve their suspension. If they stay clean, allow them to come back after the full year of suspension. If they ever violate the drug policy again, they're done for life and completely banned from the sport (except I suppose they could attend in the stands, but in no way should they be allowed down on the pavement).Again, that's just my opinion. Baseball and NASCAR mixed together....3 strikes and you're out.
JohnMickish
I work in a "one and done" environment. I fail one UA and I'll never work there again. IMO I feel all sports/role models should be given the same rules. I've just about had it with these people now and their "it's not my fault" attitude and expecting to be given another chance. Ok, I feel better now.
