Plastic Material For Windows??

I am looking for somewhere that I could buy that heavy,

clear, plastic used for windows in boat curtains and

portable icehouse windows. Is there an outlet for that kind of stuff somewhere?? Thanks for any help!!

Check any canvas shop. They should have on a roll or in sheets. The sheet goods are a higher quality.

I think the plastic used for both of those is clear vinyl. Same stuff your shower curtains are made of.

Try Commercial Plastic and Supply in St. Paul (651-645-1666). They are located near hwy 52 and 94.

I have used the stuff they have on freezer rooms. They use that long clear stuff for door openings. It's in strips that are about an 1/8 of an inch thick and a foot or two wide. It's strong and lasts a long time.

If you don't mind looking through dozens of them I might have the correct windows for your boat, already made and with zippers....
