Fetch Kitty Fetch

My uncle saw a similar thing to that. He was fly fishing for muskies at my cabin and he saw one with its fins sticking out of the water. Had a bad cast and snagged it on accident. It put up a little fight and brought it in. When he got it to the canoe he looked and it and had a blue worm container in its mouth. The tub was in there perfectly that it took up the whole mouth. I wonder what a 43 inch muskie thought what he was eating. Cool pics of the cat

This picture has been around on the site a few times. I really feel that someone shoved the ball in its mouth, how else could it have gotten it in there, look how far out the mouth is stretched, its unnatural.

Its possible someone did that.. but at the same time, I have caught many northerns that had eaten another northern of the same size as the fish was.. identical tail sticking out of its mouth. There has been many occasions where fish are found dead from trying to eat something way to big. I have seen catfish do some pretty strange things.. I wouldnt put it past a flathead to try to eat a ball... I wouldnt doubt someone at the location this picture was taken seen a ball getting tossed around for a while.. or either it ate it at night... Its possible, so is someone shoving the ball in its mouth I guess.

I have caught some small flatheads on really big bait.. including a 3 lb fish on a 15" sucker.. what was it thinking?
