Tackle Box for Plastics

I was wondering where you guys put your plastics. I thought about getting a soft-sided box for all of them. Would this be a good idea or should I leave the plastics in the bags they come in to preserve some of the moisture.

It's getting to the point now where the bottom of my tackle box will not shut because it is so plump full of plastics.

have you tried looking into a soft-sided tackle-bag? i know plano makes a storage system called the Tackle Logic 1797 that fits in place of a 3700 that stores your plastics. You have to be careful mixing some of the newer plastics cuz they will sometimes have bad reactions with one another.

A couple companies are making tackle bags specifically designed for storing plastics in their original bags. Check the Bass Pro Shops catalog or web site. I find it's best to keep plastic in original bags whenever possible. Keeps scents fresh and prevents colors from running into other baits.

i keep mine in their original bags and them store them in the "Bassmaster Tournament Worm Bag Binder" from Bass Pro. they make 2 different sizes, one for $8.99 and the other for $7.99. i would recommend the larger one, it seems to work great so far. i have 4 bags; one for worms, one for tubes, one for "senkos" and another for creature plastics.

A good idea that was given to me from here is to purchase little or big storage type boxes at your local retail store for 2-3 bucks. I picked one for worms, creature baits, etc. Nice snap lid to keep them out of the elements.

One person that works at Gander told me to get a backpack or duffel bag and just toss them in there, leaving them in their original packages. What I've done is leave them in their original packages and get a 3-ring binder. I've got them safely set in the 3-ring binder. But I'm thinking about changing this and making someone a bit easier for removing the bags as I need to.

I took a look at the Bass Pro Shop binders and that seems to be the best for me. My concern is the number they actually hold. It looks like they dont hold that many bags. I know the larger one comes with 20 zip-lock style bags, but can you insert more?
