Bass fishing this weekend!

I am so excited to go down and do some bass fishing this weekend. I am taking a few of my MN buddy's down for our anual fishing weekend on the private lake I grew up on in Iowa. The ice has been off the lake for at least a month and the have had very warm weather. It sould be good. I just wanted to get you bass guys like me pumped up for bass season. Maybe we might get lucky and get a big one like the big mama below. I know I look like a goofball with the hypercolor shirt.

Must have been around '96-'98 judging by that hat huh? That sure is a nice bass though and I am jealous.

I don't know exactly what year it was but it was probably more like 94. We will take some pics. There aren't as many big bass as there used to be (lot of small ones now) the panfish are still big though. I will post when we get back.

We had a great weekend and it happened, I got my 2 biggest bass of my life a pig 22.5"er It gave a great fight. My two buddies were drooling big time. Great, now I have the bass shakes. That is a monster bass, congrats! Did she jump? I caught a 21" last year and it was so piggish that it couldn't jump. It tried, but no dice. lol Gotta love dem pigs!

Nice fish!!! Can't wait to get out fishing. My biggest 21 inches, tryed to jump, but ended up skitting across the water.
