Watching Fox College Sports channel show "Good Fishing" w/ Babe, they had a box that dispelled different baitfish sounds under the water to attract fish.

Did anyone else see this, it looked like it was working for them.

Would/Should this be legal?

That sounds more like it's made to catch fisherman not fish.

I think if this thing actually works, it's a step over the line. What satisfaction would you get if all you have to do is turn this on, and the fish come to you. The hunt is part of the game, I want to find my fish on my own, afterall isn't that why they call it fishing?

...I agree. with ace....fishing is like hunting and the challenge of figuring out where and when....aand with what....woudnt even allow one in my boat...would rather get skunked!!!

These things have been around for a couple of years now. I agree that they are probably more effective at catching fisherman than fish. If they worked (that) well every pro would have one in his boat.

When sonar came out people wanted to ban it. When cameras came out the legislature looked at outlawing them. This is just another toy and I don't think it's anything to get worked up about.
