Lowrance x87

I just got a new x87 with my new boat. Its actually an '03 model it just never sold at the dealership I was at so they cut me a deal, $199 and since I knew it was at least a $300 unit new I took it. Since '03 the x87 has been disconinuted, I was just wonder if anyone knew why or have any experience with the x87.

I have the x-87 and I dont think there is anything wrong with it.

Just take some time and once you figure it out, you will have lots of fun with it.

I also have a 87 and like it. Its a good little unit and I run it on my bow mount trolling motor.

Yea I thought about putting it on the trolling motor, but the place said they'd mount it on the back for free, and that way if I'm just cruisin without the trolling motor I can still see the depth.

a X87 for $200 is a good deal. Nice unit for that price.
