Dennis Steele
OH, Just wondering as years ago I worked as a "horse groom" for a trainer who raced at the track.
DARK30
I offered to let this little guy reel um in and he sure had fun doing that. Tried to explain how to hold um but he decided just to let me do it. Also tried for a white bass...oops, wrong color.

DTro
actually my signature was pretty cool I think. It was able to see your IP, what browser you where running and what version of windows. So whatever you were using it would show up. For example when I viewed my posts it would say I was using IP xx.xxx and using Road Running with IE6. I really didn't see anything wrong with it. I guess a mod pulled it. Someone's always gotta go and ruin my fun. I wish someone would tell me why that sig is inappropriate (foghorn). Whatever........ By the way, good looking white bass there dark

Lost
Manny,We definitely need to get together again. I told Duncan that I ran into you and Marcus. He got all excited and said, "Let's go find them so we can go fishing!" LOL. They had a lot of fun together. Now if we can get them on some decent cats... that would be awesome! DARK30
That was quite the bunch down there last night! Hopefully the Miss will come down soon. Its still gonna be better than the Minnesota for a while. Those big city kitties are just as much fun as our country kitties! Hey Ralph, I still sometimes cast without opening the bail first.....you won't be a "noober" much longer!
Fisher Dave
I hope the Minnesota goes down pretty soon and the chocolate milk thins out a little bit.. I would like to get down there and train in a few more of them *country cats* too... I'm really thinking I'm going to sneak out today and find a few smaller bullheads to drown on the Mississippi tonight on one of the other *less known* spots... That 6th sense of mine is kicking in and telling me theres a couple flatheads around that will chew if I can get a line in front of them with a decent bait... That run last night that one of the crew got at the end there didnt sound anything like a channel cat... Too bad he didnt hook up solid... the rod had quite the bend for a second... that 6500 sounded an aweful lot like the tune of a Flattie...Decisions, Decisions ... so much fishing to do, so little time... we really need more than 24 hours in a day. korn_fish
When are you guys hitting that stretch for the citties again? I work downtown and drive by close proximity to where you are fishing (I think....ok - pretty darn sure) Just thinking that would be an excellent extended lunch break sometime
Fisher Dave
Lunch break might get you a fish, maybe 2 ... but after work is a better bet.Send me an email and we can probably figure out something to up your odds[email protected]

JohnMickish
I have never caught a cat before and this summer I want to fish a few of the lakes in my area that have them stocked. There is only one thing that is holding me back. How do you fish for cats? The lake I am thinking of is relatively featureless with one deep hole. Do you fish the bottom? Weed edges? Minnows or that catfish bait? Help!!
TylerFlom
Hey, I have been catfishing for a few years, however probalby have not gone more then a dozen or two times. I have a baitcaster king cat from Cabela's, (any info on what i should use on it? all the baits ive been throwing are too small, what weight is good for this?) and actually only have one spot, we were told about it by a friend, its a breakoff from the main river channel (Mississipi) and its just a small channel, we put in in South Saint Paul, under the 494 bridge, and on a side note, whenver we check the bridge, the fishfinder goes crazy, anyone else have this happen? Anyways, I'm looking for a few new spots, and have checked a stretch of the Mississippi, and nothing, just wondering if i should check the St. Croix, or Minnesota out instead? I know the tricks of the trade, and I would fish more, but i don't have any spots to fish! hehe
