0 Guest
Thorne Bros in Fridley has all the parts you will need for rod building. They also educate you on how its done. A lot of people on FM have built their own rods, I'm sure they have some advice too.Good Fishin,Matt [email protected]Catch-N TackleMarCum
0 Dark Cloud
Cubbies11 - I have built alot of rods and mostly use cabelas and netcraft. Call cabelas and ask for a tackle craft catalog and I believe netcraft has a web site. Any other questions just shoot. I and others can help avoid pitfalls...[This message has been edited by Rick (edited 11-13-2003).]

0 willowcat
Where are you located? I build all kinds of rods but I get most of my supplies from my local bait shop. Might want to make a run over to the St.Croix factory, you can pick up blanks cheap there.
0 troutstix
Hello Cubbies- Check out Wild River Dist. they are located in Marine on the St. Croix. They carry ice blanks, and salvage fly tips (that can be made into a very nice ice rod).
