Gun Safety Class

How do I find out about getting my son and me into a gun safety class? I've never had one and would like to take the class with him.

NO, you can take the same class. Even with people who have it, the instructors often encourage the parent to sit through it with the son/daughter.

I absolutely recommend attending with your kids. The instructors will appreciate it also. Plus, it's a great kid/dad experience.

Yes, going with your son is a good idea. I'm currently going the the safety class with my 11 year old at the Columbia heights cop shop. I signed up on the DNR site. Many jr. high schools also offer this course.
