2004 Yamaha 4 stroke

I just bought a new boat with a brand new 2004 Yamaha 150 4 stroke. I've heard mostly good things about this motor. Is anyone aware of some things I should watch out for?

The worst thing is I always liked that gas/oil smell when I backed off the trailer at the boat ramp with my old motor, now no blue cloud. I think you made a great choice, I'm sure there are isolated cases people might have but you are going to love it. I have a 175 yam hpdi vmax but I have two buddies with the 150 4 strokes and a handful with the 115 and they are great.

Keep a good hold on your hat, it Will fly!

Make sure any conversation in the boat is suitable for all to hear. They will!

If you don't want to destroy your prop on the maiden voyage stay off Forest Lake!

Other then that great choice! Have a blast with it!
