Recoil on the Strikemaster auger

I purchased a Lazer Mag 2 blade in Febuary the recoil has had problems 3 different times. first cord came out the next 2 times the recoil came completely loose in the motor head. They have taken care of me every time but I was curious if anyone else is having similar problems??

I have had the reciol actually break inside where the tab goes back around and hooks in the recoil tray. This is really a pain getting back in and it really works your grip out.

Just got back from D-Rock Center in New Brighton. I was up on the Woods this weekend and my recoil on my brand new 8 inch 4 blade Strikemaster auger went out. Took it into D-Rock and the owner said that the new recoil have been breaking down all winter whether it is a Jiffy or a Strikemaster. It is Tuchumshi (sp??)the engine manufacturer who is making the engine that needs to fix the problem. The replacement recoil and housing is a bit different which will help solve the problem! Luckily we had 8 augers up on the Woods or we may have had some major issues.
