FM bracket contest?

Does anyone know of a site to start a FM contest for the mens NCAA bracket? I think we did something like this last year but I don't know who set it up. I think they just started a group names fishingmn.com or something. Please post if something like this gets set up for this years tournament.

Yah, I just started one on yahoo if people want to join it. What you do is go to yahoo and you have to have a Yahoo ID. Then go to sports and click on pick em. Sign up for the contest and then join a group. The group is called Fishing Mn. You'll need the group ID # and it is ID# 64242. Password is "gophers". Then just make your picks.

I'd be interested in this as well, assuming it's just for fun. Maybe like the big buck contest, we're competing for a heading attached to our sign-ins about being the NCAA tourney bracket winner or something.

I did my five different brackets on the ESPN page and there was an area where you can set up or join a group. I will play with it a little and see what I can do.

I was able to set up a group on www.espn.com

On the right click "NCAA Tournament"

Then click "Tourney Challenge"

Set up a free account and make your picks. You can pick 5 different brackets. After you set up an account and make your picks you can join the group "fishingminnesota.com".

Click on the group and then click "join group" and the password is "fishingminnesota" .

Join in and lets have some fun with it.

Let me know if anyone has questions/suggestions.

Anyone picking a big upset in the first round? Its kind of tough with having 5 different brackets, but anyone confident in a "sleeper" team? On one board I went out on a limb and took MN over UNC blush.gif . March Madness makes work go by so much faster!

Later and good luck on the brackets!

I have #12 Wis-Mil over #5 Alabama on one of my brackets. Wis-Mil is up by 13 at half! Doesn't at least one #12 beat a #5 every year? Sure seems like it.

I have Wis-Mil on 2 of my pools, in fact, I had them marked down, changed my mind, then 2 minutes before the first tip-off I called the guy who was in charge and had him switch it back...lol.

Looking good right now!! grin.gif

4 of my 5 ESPN brackets went 3-1(probably most peoples did). The Alabama game was the one that hurt me. I picked Wis-Mil on the board against my wife. I think I went 4-0 on that one but its at home. I thought Pacific was going to loose that one. Gotta go.....4 more games starting up!

What do you think of Washington? I didn't read anything about any of the teams before I made my picks and I never watched Washington play. Think they are for real? I think they will loose the second or third round. No logic behind that, just a guess.

I've got them being beat by Louisville in the 3rd round.

Who else has UTEP over Utah? Not looking good right now, but still a whole half to go. They may still pull it out.

My biggest upset win pick has got to be, well it was Wisc-Mil over Bama. I also have Creighton over WV, but a 10 over a 7 isnt that big of a deal really (also have NC state over Charlotte).

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
