SOLD---2001 Yamaha F115-TLRZ for sale.--" PRICE REDUCED!" --SOLD

Recommended Posts

Yeah...that is a lot of work for a 2001 Yammy. I have seen many Yammy's and never have I seen one that has been repaired except for oil and sparks. I have met people with Yammy's from 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001. Same story for all. What is yours on the Yammy? Thanks

Hi guys,

Sorry about the late answer. I have been out of town for a few days.

The damage was caused by low water.....and a high reef!! frown.gif

I did not have time to wait for repairs and parts so I bought a new motor. Another Yamaha 115 !! smile.gif

I had the 01 repaired and now want to sell it.

My 1775 Pro V just can't handel twin 115's! grin.gif

Cliff do ya think I could get a few pic's, mostly want to know if she's not all scratched up, and how much run time after repair? also do you think the controls from a yamaha 90/2-stroke (2003) will work? I am considering a repower for a 2003 17ft superhawk.

Tom,

Do not know how to post pics on this forum.

There are a couple of easily fixed scratches on the top of the hood from raising the motor with a seat on the rear deck. tongue.gif Otherwise the paint is quite good.

The motor is being stored at the marine repair shop and has not been run since the parts were installed.

I will check to see if your controls will fit at the dealer.

You could also call any Yamaha dealer to check.

The marine repair shop # is 218-753-4190 if you wish to make inquiries about the work done on my motor.

Sorry it took until now to answer, but I have been busy getting ready for guiding the Governor's Fishing Opener on Lake Vermilion. I had the Mn. Lt. Governor in my boat! grin.gif

Thanks Cliff thats the info I needed, I'm trying to get things together on my end to make something happen but it's going to be 3-4 weeks but if somebody else monies up first they will be getting a great deal. buy the way do you have an idea how that will push a 17ft superhawk?

Wow, I thought a 4 stoker would do a little better on speed then that. I have a 1775 with a yammy 115 2 stroke and I run at 43mph completely loaded. Must have something to with the propping I would imagine. Does sound like a great deal though. wink.gif
