Circle hooks

I know this has been a topic before, but how many people use them? I know there is many styles and sizes to choose from, I just would like to know what styles are used for what types of fish.

The ones I have used worked vey well. I think they are the octopus style. The only thing is, it's hard breaking the habit of setting the hook.

I use them alot. Make sure the point of the hook is pointing straight at the hook shank on the opposite side. That`s a true circle hook. Also remember not to set the hook, just reel tight.

use them on my spinners for crawlers for eyes, love them but once in awhile forget to not set hook. I use the gramasku? red ones.

I use circle hooks for all bait fishing. I use VMC's and have had great success with them. I started using them 3 seasons ago.

When teaching newbies how to use circles, I like to have my kids demonstrate. Kids, for the most part, have no clue about setting the hook and demonstrate circle hooks perfectly.

I will probably never go to another hook style for bait fishing.

I'm with Lee they work great for pulling spinners, especsially if you pull spinners behind planner boards.
