Reminder... New Fishing License...

I just realized that we all need to by new MN fishing licenses starting on Tuesday. Just a heads up so we don't have any late ice problems A buddy of mine picked up a nice fine last winter because he forgot. Hopefully we can avoid that...

We need new portable fishhouse/shelter licenses too if you plan on using one in March. Better to buy one right away and not have to worry about it next winter...

Haven't gone since the 20th but was heading out tomorrow night. With making sure you have all the right gear, poles, heat, bait, OK from the wife ( )...it's easy to overlook the license at this time of year. Can't say I agree with needing to have a permit for the portable house but I get one anyhow. It's much cheaper than the fine. Wait till the tax goo-roos find out we can fish two poles out of those huts on the ice...suppose they will come up with another meaningless tax to put on us. I mean really...I have a fishing license, pay lots of sales tax on my portable at purchase, and pay state tax on top of all of it.

Oops...that just kinda all came out...sorry for the rant

Just got mine online. It took 2 minutes. Can`t get any easier. Good for another great year. Hopefully I can move up there for the winter.
