Ward Burton, but to who??

Rumor is Ward may have a ride offer. I have been thinking, but the only teams I see an options is: BAM, Wood Brothers (2nd Team), PPC (2nd Team), DEI (fill in the that #1 car when Truex isn't)??

Any guesses.

I have not heard anything was in the works for Ward and I check the Jayski silly season site that's usually hot on the rumors and saw nothing on there either.

I will say Ward deserves a ride. He can drive and was always best on the tracks like Darlington with less grip. I think with the new spoiler rules and softer tires he really deserves a ride...

Another plus for us here, Ward is a huge sportsman and contributor to numerous wildlife habitat and resorce causes.

I haven't heard anything either outdoornut. I agree with lawdog, I too would like to see Ward find a ride for the remainder of the season.

I saw a show on TV last season about Ward (maybe it was Nascar 360, can't remember for sure), but ended up liking him a lot more after that after I saw how much he was into the outdoors. Seems like a pretty good guy.

NO, actually the 30 car and its owner points were transferred to the 07 Jack Daniels car for Dave Blaney. Normally the owner points are associated with the number but NASCAR allowed them to take it to the O7 for old #7 Jack Daniels, so the 30 is non-existant anymore.

I did not know that, but I guess it makes sense. Thanks for the info, but he'd still be a good fit there. Richard and Ward are already friends and I'm sure they'd be gone hunting all the time.

"NASCAR Nation" reported he was in talks with a potential ride. They thought maybe even by Vegas.

A 4th team? RCR can't get the 3 teams they got running strong. I really thought he would have jumped aboard a good Busch or Truck team, but he wants to drive the Cup cars I guess.
