76k20
a little late to be helpful but I made the trip and it wasn't nearly the same show as last year at canterbury.I wasn't impressed this year at all.Kyle

HawgTide
Consider yourself lucky that you didn't waste $8. It's like charging you to go inside Gander. Why do they charge to come in and look at their stuff to sell, their resorts, their boats, and overpriced food. Very Small setup, not many deals on Bass stuff. jigginjim
For some you get what you put into it. Many guys go to chat have guides and pro-anglers. Many guys say "I already know how to fish!" That may be true, but there is always some new tricks. If you thought the food is spendy there was pop and candy out in the hall. I also got spinner blades not sold in major fishing stores. Ole1855
My fishing buddy and I ended up going, our main reason was to talk to some of the tournament folks and see products. As for seeing products it was very disappointing, we did talk to several of the tournament folks and we enjoyed that.I probably won't go back next year, overall it was pretty disappointing.Ole
Fish Head
I went with my 12 year old son and his friend. I enjoyed it, but here is why- I had VERY low expectations. When you are expecting nothing, anything you get is a plus. I haven't been to a Walleye and Bass Expo before. Maybe they should move it back to Shakopee. SteveWilson
I don't know if it was worth the cost but I was able to see a couple of things I haven't seen before. I liked the company who produces replica's (name escapes me but I have the brochure), and the custom tackle bags. My kids really enjoyed the lure making demonstrations, they each made two and had a blast as did my wife. The order for some supplies will be going in this week - sounds like fun.
