Jiffy augers

Does anyone know if jiffy has a customer service shop in the metro, or where a guy can go to get an auger fixed. I can't get my mine to run right. It bogs out and backfires when I try to drill holes.

Search on "Jiffy Augers" on Google, then click on "Service" then "Minnesota". It lists the service places.

I don't know why D-Rock in New Brighton couldn't help you out if you are in that region of the metro.

My neighbor is a small engine repairman, and is one of the best around the south metro. I had the exact same problem with mine a couple of weeks ago. A new spark plug was all it took to fix the problem. Give that a try before you spend a bunch of cash.

The Jiffy HSOforum http://www.jiffy-on-ice.com lists the service centers. Most are small engine shops. Give the site a lookup and you should find one near you.

Try the new plug first though. Gander Mt and Fleet Farm sell the plug and being the time of year it is, they will probably be on sale.

I recommend you replace the factory plug with a NGK Spitfire Platinum plug.

They are a much better quality plug and burn hot and clean, much better performance then the Champion or Autolight plugs.

Ask the parts guy/gall to cross-reference the plug and spring for the $5 NGK, you will not regret it.

I tried a new spark plug, tried messing with the idle, cleaned everything I could, and still have problems. Thats why I give up and am going to take it in. Went to the Jiffy site and found a shop in my neck of the woods. Thanks all for the help.
