Good cuz I am gonna need you as a sub:) Whitfish is off the roster and boulder and caribou are on, They got rid of loonsfoot and are doing a different league for walleyes for the first six weeks of the season, not sure which I will be in now that I have a little more power under my belt.

Oh my god Boulder? Those 20' Rangers are going to have fun trying to get around in that lake. Going to be some Skags and props headed up to Jay after that one.

I still say heck with running around to inland lakes and do a 6 week Walleye league on just the river. Run it on a Tues night and start 2 weeks after opener. Different landing every week. I would also like to see a prize for biggest walleye of the season! Yes Im still mad I didnt get squatt for that last season. grin.gif Oh and make the shiznit plant taboo.

For all the subbing Im supposed to be doing I might as well just put my own boat in. wink.gif

Ewirz its only as competitve as you make it. You can show up late and leave early every night if ya want. Pre Fishing is where its at and thats the time consumer. With going to different lakes all the time your always running someplace to find the bite for Mon. night.

You will have guys who pay people for fishing spots and you will have people who only fish on that Mon. night so you have a variety of competition going on all in the 1 league.

You will have 21' Rangers with 250 horses on them down to 14' with 25 horses. Some guys are tourney fisherman and others are just weekend warriors.

If you want to get all you can out of the league make sure you stay after and B.S. and tip a few with the boys. Ask questions. You will get some good info. Remember though these are fisherman and they are not going to give you anything that you may beat them with. Also the storys get better as the night goes on.

I wont be running in the league this year but Im sure you will see me running around there on some nights subbing with a few teams.

Good luck and have fun and most of all be safe.

You really get out of it what you put into it, and Northlander that is a 15 horse on my 14 foot. Nothing makes you smile more than when you score better in a 14' compared to a $40,000 ranger. You might be onto something Steve to help pay for your Hawaii trip you can sell me more of your spots grin.gif

Cheffrey you know you dont have to pay for my spots. Some salmon wantons and Kangaroo is all it takes. grin.gif Besides you already know one of the best spots on the river. Im sure you will see a lot more boats on that area after finding out theres eyes, crappie, rockbass, bass, northern, catfish and Muskies all in that area depending on time of year. Keep that one to yourself!

15 horse? Man the way you guys were flying up and down the river I could have swore it was at least a 25! crazy.gif

Man I may just have to run league just to beat you guys! Again. Oops did I say that? laugh.gif

I think I have as big of a boat that will still kinda work for those shallow pockets. NO need to go bigger, may just have to get a dingy though. I was thinking the same thing Steve, about you and the league. Quick, I think we may opt for the walleye division for the first six weeks. Cool with you?

Cheffrey you know theres no shortage of teammates when your the "Northlander"! tongue.giftongue.giftongue.gif Seriously though if they do just a walleye thing I may give it a try. You do know that I will have to team up with Randy again though. Ill wave as we go by! grin.gif We will be that black bler roaring by ya! grin.gif

Remind me and Ill hit the meeting and check it out.

Drew I know your reading this so E-mail me the latest info.

Randy if you see this what do ya think? With Cheffrey and Kent running in it I really only have 1 team to beat! blush.gif

Oh Cheffrey its not always the boat but the driver. I think were safe. grin.gif You guys might be ok the 1st hour but I know what happens after that. Thus the Big Cooler. blush.gif

Plus if your running another Ranger it wont take but a few nights before you guys got half your motor up at Jays place!

Watch out for that ROOOOOCK! Oops too late!

Oh and no tracking us with that GPS Bug you put on Drews boat last year! grin.gif

I guess sitting here and watching this site for a couple of years is not good enough anymore. The ultimate fishing mn voyeur is out of the closet and ready to chat.

For those of you that don't know me my name is Andrew Frielund aka Drew. I am one of the founding members of MMTS, tournament director, and 3 time defending champ.

We are starting a new division it will be two seperate six week tourneys. The first half will be walleyes only. The second half will be multi species without the small and rough fish. A championship will be held on a Saturday in September, combining all of the top teams from each division. We are still working out the details, but it sounds like fun to me. If you have any questions, fire away.

Not to burst the old bubble, but I believe that the big shots cleaned both of your teams. We can only get better. Steve wahts the deal on the tournment for the eyes on the river (cannot remeber the name). Will try and make it Mon night. So you are not fishing the league this year. More beer for me.>>>later the load

Load The Grand Slam is usually the weekend after opener. Always seems to be crappy weather for that one. Last year was 35 MPH winds at least and rain. Yuck! Speared a wave under the Bong 1st day and was wett the rest of the day. Livewell died, trolling motor died and our biggest fish died right after it was weighed!

Good news is we moved from 13th on day 1 to 3rd on day 2 and come home with some $ in out pockets. That made it worth while.

Load are you fishing the walleye league or the Multi league? Both? I probably will just sub for everyone and their brother this year. That pre fishing for rock bass, northern, crappie, bass and ruff fish really screwed up my walleye fishing.

Ya you did finish higher than us but who caught the biggest walleye this year? Who caught the biggest Lakers this year? Who caught the biggest Crappie this year? Who caught the most smelt this year? Anyways you get the point dont ya? grin.gif

Load get those waders all waterproof cuzz smelting should be good again this year. We have to get together and hit the river for early spring Crappies before the opener.
