ice_shack
I was testing mine the other night and I found if you close them with the tabs facing away from you they work better.
hip_hop_fisherman
I too found closing one tab at a time works well. I can close mine no problem now.
smalls
Mr. Takasaki, you're post speaks volumes about your personal character and the customer service of your company. Thanks!
Northlander
I tried everything but only broke a tab off as well. Thats ok though because Lindy has done all they can at the time. I think if they were a bit smaller so I could put one in my shirt pocket or bibs pocket and they got the closing problem fixed I would take a serious look at them next season. OldBear
Well mine works fine and I keep waxworms in it. I question how long the locking tabs will last and a little smaller would probably be better but I'm happy with it.
lindyted
Holy Moly! I've been so busy for the last month or so, that I didn't get a chance to read all of the posts. I do appreciate the compliments and the kind words.I am very excited to announce the arrival of our re-designed Grub Getter. Reinforced tabs and guides which make sure the lid lines up with the bottom. This version will definitely work all the time, every time.I will make this offer to everyone once again. If you have a Grub Getter that does not work, please call our office at 218-829-1714 and Roxie will send one a Grub Getter that works for sure. For those of you who have questioned whether the Grub Getter will work for waxies or spikes, I've personally used it with both and I haven't had any issues. The larger holes will still sift the smaller spikes to one side.Again, I will apologize for the inconvenience in regards to the problems with our Grub Getter. It is fixed to my satisfaction and I believe that it is a very useful container for spikes and wax worms. Even though this is an ice site, the Grub Getter will obviously work in the open water.By the way, Lindy just acquired Beckman and Drift Control products. Beckman's got a great ice rod bag. Thanks,Ted TakasakiPresidentLindy Fishing Tackle
