18ft fiberglass boat with Mercruiser inboard, $ 250.00

Recommended Posts

1974 Tom Sawyer 17/18ft closed bow fiberglass runabout.

Boat looks good, motor had a small fire and needs some wiring and hoses, nothing major, has good oil and spins freely.

Mercruiser 140hp 4 cylinder outdrive.

Boat has no trailer, I have something that will work but it will be more expensive (see my trailer ads).

Great and easy project for spring.

Price at $ 250.00, just the parts alone are worth 4 times as much.

Located near Faribault, 30 miles south of MPLS

Where are your trailer ads located? I looked over your HSOforum, but didnt see them. Also, what type of cost would one be looking at to get the motor back up?

Could you email me a few more pictures (inside and such). Kylersk at yahoo dot com.

Thanks.

Thanks arbuck...

I don't think it will be much money to fix it up, it's a GM 4 cylinder block, you can use some automotive parts to save money. I can ballpark at approx $ 150.00 / $ 200.00 if you do the work yourself.

The Shorelander will work great for this boat, the Trailstar might be a little to small on capacity.

Pics are sent.
