buzz sticks

these buzz sticks been around for some time. Whats your thoughts of them? Any tips on ways to get the best effect from them. The wife bought me 2 for christmas, the ones with larger vibrators.

I have looked at them in the store and thought they shure would jig the s&#t out of a small jig but I also thought it might be to fast and way to intens but like all stuff they will have a time and place where they will work like crack for fish, they wont be able to get enough.

I bought a Buzzstick on a whim a couple weeks ago; I watched the action from my AquaVu and was surprised to see that the jigging action is actually pretty subtle. And the fish reacted to it pretty well! I'd watch fish swim up and look at the lure--and a second or two of buzzing seemed to seal the deal more often than not.

We took a look at the action of some small jigs with the Aqua-Vu. It must be a really subtle action because we couldn't see anything moving. Maybe in shallow water with no stretch line but in 10' with light line, the water damped out anything the buzzer did.
