Matt Johnson
When we have 1000 to 2000 people on at any given time it can cause a few problems (I guess it's one of those problems that's nice have ) and things can get bogged down. It can also cause problems when a large amount of people reply at the same time too. We've seen a huge increase of members and activity on the site in recent months and things will get taken care of. Thanks for the concern and thanks to everyone who contributes to FM so regularly. This site is the way it is today because of all of you loyal members and because of that "We Have More Fun!" The Medicine Lake event is going to be a lot of fun this Saturday and I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of you! we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 19, 2005 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 19, 2005 We're watching it to see what is going on. We may have a rogue script that is causing it. We don't know yet.We did some things last night that hopefully will stop the crashing. It's very frustrating to upgrade the server and have it act like we downgraded the server.I apologise for any inconvenience it has caused any of you. MT Net
Yeah, I normally jump on board each morning with my first...(and sometimes second) cup of coffee before plunging into work type affairs. This morning, while FM was down, I was forced to actually do work with my first cup of coffee. Now, that's what is really frustrating! Thanks for the recovery! upnorth
Can't be working while we are at work don't ya know By the way I know the feeling about a crashed server, we lost the raid card on one of our mail servers today and things are little frantic. I just got a few minute break while installing updates on the new server. Still got a long way to go.
