Minneapolis Boat Show

Has anyone been to this show in past years? Can one find a decent amount of fishing rigs to make it worth my trip up from Rochester or is it mainly all powerboats, big cruisers, etc. Thanks.

If you mean Lunds, Crestliners, Alumicrafts and the like there will be plenty of them there.

it is a good show with plenty of everything... I'm contemplating going myself, but worried I'll end up with another boat if I do .. We bought our last boat at the show after shopping around a bit before that - you can't beat the prices if you have a good idea on price and options before going down. If your just going to look and get ideas, it is perfect for that too. Plenty of boats and knowledge at that show.

This is the years biggest display of fishing boats in the entire State of MN. So if you are looking or if you are buying this is the one to see.

With the supply problems on some outboard models it will be wise to get your deal locked in early this year.

I have made some great deals at the show. You can walk from one dealer to the next finding out who is going to give you the best deal.

One year I purchased and outboard and went back to the same dealer 3 times.He just kept dropping his price every time I showed him my quote from another dealer.

I couldn't agree more. I bought my current boat two years ago at the boat show and got a pretty good deal. If you are able and willing to spend a little time it is well worth it.
