Favorite Bucktail Color

just wondering what some of your favorite colors are for bucktails. Also whats your favorite size?

I gotta go with the Biggest white eagle tail made as my go to bait. I know the vast majority out there are black fans i believe but i love the results with white as i don't think they see it as much.

For me it's a tough choice between Black/silver or Black/charteruce. I let the fish tell me what size to throw.

Though my largest (47 1/2") came off an all white bucktail, my favorite color is dark green with orange, red, and yellow in it.

My dad makes some of his own buck tails and he made a walleye color for one trip and caught one and had alot of follows on it,so i like his but my favorite is the musky maribou.Great lure

thanks guys, i got a few for xmas and cant wait to try them out this year. also got a new rod, reel, net and a few other things. i got hooked on this sport at the end of last season and cant wait to catch #1. Thanks for all the help.

It all depends on the water clarity and weather conditons for me anyway.

Clear days, natural colors silver or copper blades.

Dark and overcast, I like orange blades. My favorite is a black eagle tail with an orange Indiana blade.
