Yes there is some hens in these pics, but not as many as you might have thought. The top two pics(from opening weekend) only have a couple of hens in them a piece-at the end of september most of the drakes have very little, if green on their heads(hard to see on these photos). The photo with the boat pictured has half hens and half drakes (the mallards). We mostly try for drakes only and never shoot, or even come close to shooting our limit in hen mallards.
