CNY Tim
I have the LXi performance pack and have used it twice and it's a sweet compact unit with battery and case.
cliffy
I also have the LX-i and love it. The thing that I like about it compared to some of the others is the location of the read-out. Its on top of the unit...some other brands have it on the side near the bottom. Being that the LX-i's read out is on top, its easier to read...dont have to bend over sideways. Just my 2 cents. Farley
Yep, the vexilar reads on the side, would be nicer if it was on the top.

only-eyes
The LXi works great, and easily pays for itself in the time it saves you on the ice. This is the first year I have had one and so far it shoots clean threw 16+ inches of ice with no problems.
icecold
I bought a polar vision this year, used it 10 to 15 times so far and love it, Shot threw 15 inches of ice and worked great, I found that if you keep the battery pack warm It works even better and reads quicker than if its been out in cold for a few hours.
