I actually drove by the accident on highway 10. From what I heard the girl lives in D.L. not Illinois. I think she got 2 tickets, speeding and inatentive driving. The owner of the house ended up with 4 tickets, Under the minimum speed limit on a highway, over the legal width, no taillights, and no reflectors. This is what I heard at work. Not sure how true it is

SXViper, theres no way everyone got the tickets they deserved. Its just too much to ask for. grin.gif But we can dream, right?

IFFwalleyes, you are saying what I was thinking. Cellphones were invented so people could drive and talk but unfortunately some talk and drive. I have heard a lot of woman driver bashing over this accident but a man was involved also. Or so I heard.

Even if there are no lights on the fish house - it looked like it was pretty much daylight out there when it happened - so it's pretty hard to miss the fish house! haha

Imagine the poor guy who owend the fish house! He was probably so excited to get the house out on the lake and then on the way there - BOOM!!!! Probably screwed up the season for him as far as the house goes.

At least no one got hurt.

SCHAAKATTACK and afew others are correct that there was no tail lights on the fish house. Thats what an insurance adjuster told me yesterday. We passed a gal in Montana on the freeway who was brushing her teeth as we passed her. grin.gif
