Eric Wettschreck
Hi fellas, I just bought a vexilar from a fellow FM'er and I need to get a battery. What gives the best bang for the buck, a lead acid or gel cell battery?? Or, does it matter??Thanks in advance.
Jeremy airjer W
I thought all the depth finder batteries (vex and marcum) where gel cel "Spill proof". I think GM just had them for 12 or 15 bucks. I've had mine for three years and keep the auto charger on it whenever its not being used and haven't had any problems yet. (that includes all summer long to keep the battery maintaned)
