Scoot
Hey all, not at all fishing related, but I'm so excited I can't help myself...I became a father for the first time on Sat at 1:15. Ryan Roderick Engel was born in the afternoon and weighed 7 lbs. and 12 oz. Lots of dark hair and looks like a combo of both mom and dad. Both mom and baby are doing great. I don't know how much I'll be getting on the ice this winter, but I truely couldn't care less at this point.

Blaine
Congrats! You have many years of great fishing to look forward to with the little one. Even since my son was born, I have played a little game. I must catch a fish that is bigger than him every year. We'll, he's 10 years old now... Thank God I live by the ocean

rod bender
Atta boy scoot. My first was also 7/12 with dark curly hair. Now he's 7 and has two younger brothers. I still get out fishing and am still "The world's best dad!". So you can do both, you just have to manage your time a little better. Good luck to you and your new fishing parnter.
