New Rapala - X-Rap

Just bought a handful of these at Gander Mountain. Anybody tried these this fall casting/trolling for walleye. Packaging on XR-10 states 4-6 ft running depth. Any predictions on effectiveness for walleyes.

I bet they dont work any better than the good ole floating Rapala... Thats my go to lure...

Used them all summer (have a son who works there) - think of them as a subsurface POPr or maybe a small musky glide bait and you'll get the idea how to fish them. Deadly on the river and in the BWCA for smallies and did well for largemouth on Tonka over the milfoil. Haven't tried trolling them but should be a nice changeup from husky jerks.

Saw them today, cool colors..Ill test em out next summer I guess. Strange time of the year to hit the stores?

Had the chance to check out Rapala's HSOforum last night. I think that jigging shadrap might be hot one this year.

I do love my Shad Rap. Its hard for me to even try something else in the crank bait group...even another style rapala. Still gotta try the tail dancer one of these days.
