Most of the ones I bought this summer we so fatty they were barely edible. Anyone know of a good supplier?
chucker34
What type? Baby back or country style? I get baby back racs from cashwise in st. cloud and they are almost always lean. I bet Byerly's or Lunds in the cities would be a good bet.
Sandbar
I buy all my Pork ribs from Sam's club. There are 3 racks of ribs in each package. They quality is good, and have never been disapointed.Sandbar
P.DONA
I was a meat manager for SAM'S CLUB for 5 years. I was going to recomend them!!! Basically most of the meat packers have the same product. You just have to be picky at the counter and pick what you can.. A great "rib" is their pork butt ribs.. It's a whole pork but sliced in 1" steaks then cut in half. less expensive, too. Just brown them, put bbq sauce on, stick in the oven for 300 degrees for about 2.5-3 hours.. hoggs222
Ready Meats in NE Mpls. I think it's about 35th & Johnson St. All the meat there is very good! They have pork chop pinwheels also (stuffed in the center). Very good.

Dragonsm
Another excellent place to get ribs is Osseo Meats in Osseo. I have purchased different stuff from them in the past and they are an excellent place!
City_Slicker
I go to Daves quality meats in st.cloud. They are so good. He also has great deals on steaks. Went in there a few months ago and got tenderlions for 5 bucks a pound
rpaulson7
Pekarna's Meat in Jordan, MN has the best I've found. My parents fed them to me as a kid, and I still buy a rack every time I get down there (every 6 months for the dentist).
goldencasey
Yep! Osseo Meat Market is great..... so is Brothers (I think that is the name..) in Maple Grove.
beer batter
I'll give the nod to Osseo Meats as well. Good stuff but they are a bit pricey compared to Sam's Club (or any other super market). goldencasey - Never heard of Brother's. Where is it at? Do they specialize in anything in particular? The_Duckslayer
We have always had real good luck with country style ribs from VonHansens. They have awesome pork steaks too! I can tell that now I am going to have to fire up the grill tonight! Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
straydog
psegriz, I usually get my quarter of beef prossesed there, they do a good job. I just picked up a hog at peps pork between melrose and belgrade and so far so good. There is a meat market in st. michele called delmers meats, they have great ribs, but i've only had the ones they have already smoked.
