What time to deer stand on Sat.

What time does everybody go to there deer stand or blind opening day morning.

I am sitting on my stand by 6 am.

I try to be on stand by 6am, but I hunt public land, so, I get to my parking spot by 5am. If osmeone shows up to the same parking area I will be ready to walk in order to get to my spot first.

I don't hunt from a stand. And I don't start walking into the woods until I can leagally shoot.

I'm sort of like gunflint, but I do have a stand. I don't enter the woods until shooting light. I slowly walk/hunt on my way into my stand. I'm probably on my stand by 7:45 - 8:00.

I like to get to my stand a good half hour before you can start seeing anything and than sit and wait. Its fun listening to all the stuff going on in the woods when you can't see anything. Its funny how mice start to sound like deer, or bigfoot after awhile.

Depends where I'm hunting. One piece of property I hunt the deer never show up before 7:30. So I'm usually on stand about 10 minutes before shooting time "just in case" they get an early start.

Otherwise I'll be in stand by 6 am to let thing settle down a bit.

I try to get on stand at least an hour before sunrise.

It'sice to let the woods get back to normal.
