The Yeti
I went to a certain retailer tonight, and they were almost completely out of pheasant loads. The only thing I could find was federal Magnum wing shok. 3 inch, 4 shot. Is this a good pheasant load? What does everyone shoot?
BDR
That load will be just fine. 2's can reach out a little farther but I use 4's quite a bit.
shorthairdog2
Would that be steel shot? Either way, I use #6-4 lead for pheasants. Steel or lead, that should be fine for pheasants. Especially early on if you are a decent shot.Ryan
The Yeti
It's lead shot. Copper plated, 1350 fps.
