Deer Ticks

I had one crawling on my glove today. With the warm up and the moisture remember to check for ticks when you get out of the field.

small tick on left is a female deer tick

big tick on right is a woodtick

the male deer tick is darker and smaller than the female

I'm glad the ticks aren't that big where I hunt.

I was on the throne relaxing after bow hunting all morning last weekend (Itasca area) and a deer tick was crawling up my arm!! I was surprised they were still around.

I was just gonna post on this today, was out grouse hunting and found one crawling on my hand later that day. I thought they were already gone for the year, but i guess not.
