Those are the companys I know of. I wont recomend a certain one as I have not dealt with them all. Call for info as most buyers want there fur put up a caertain way. some buy on carcass or green skun others want them stretched and dried.

Here is the big auction houses. They also have web sites. And pick up agents in all states. Fur must be stretched and dried.

Protrapper, thanks for the info. Do you know if coyotes are worth anything? I don't trap a heck of a lot anymore, but we have an overabundance of them at the cabin this year. Thanks for the help.

I am wishing I would have sent off a few of my alaskan reds. I ended up averaging a little over 40 per fox, but I think I could have done better at nafa after seeing those results. 5 across the board for rats is not bad. Are they easy to put up? I have only done fox, beaver, and otter. I am thinking about going after rats next year.

I can skin a rat in about a minute. Our rat populations are just going way down. Over the last 20 years they have been falling. I used to catch about on average over 400 a year. That would bring some good cash this year. My best year was over 700. My friend has broke the 1000 mark several times.

The rats are slowly making a comeback in Central MN. For about the last 5 or 6 years there were sloughs that had no huts, now you see a couple dozen. The prices will hurt the population if they continue to hold come next fall.
