while crossing back over the river down at red wing yesterday by the launch, (a mad house mind you) somebodys cooler was sitting square in the middle of the road on the bridge. Needless to say it got turned into confetti by my semi trailer. Your welcome! strap down your stuff guys this isnt that hard

Quite often in the summer I see ratchet straps on the roadside. I'm not sure if it's operator error, exceeding the load limit on them or cheap product. Check them early and often.

I try to manage my straps so that I can see the ratchets from my side mirrors.  It makes it easy to see if something is going back there.
