Stuffed peppers

I'm going to be loaded soon with lots of bell peppers,  anybody have a favorite recipe on stuffed peppers ?  We did some last year with Italian sausage that turned out ok but it seamed something was missing..

My wife makes kind of a Spanish rice type mixture and mixes that with our homemade salsa. They are dynomite!

I believe you guys need to make at least four or five varieties, then I will zoom up and give each one a Reb-approved taste test.

That sounds super roony,  I'll try to whip something up!! I realize these are all try find what people like. Do you grill em or I'm the oven?  That's a great plan reb,  smoked,  oven and grilled..

Stuff some with chorizo sausage and hamburger, and lotsa onions and shredded cheese mixed in...ummm...nummmm....

Sounds great Reb. I forgot to mention the cheese. It's a must IMO.

It is! Just like my cheese sandwich....one thick slice on a piece of buttered bread, another one on the other piece of bread, and a slice of cheese in the middle!

Mrs. Cheviot makes a recipe with Jimmy Dean's pork sausage, Stove Top stuffing, a can of corn (not cream style) and topped with mozzarella. She'll make a couple pans of them so they last us a few days. I'll see if I can find the recipe here someplace.

Freind of ours makes "unstuffed peppers" which is a hot dish thing with all the same stuff as classic stuffed peppers only with the peppers chopped into like 1 inch pieces and mixed with the ground beef and rice and whatever.

Sounds awesome guys,  thanks for ideas. Salsa , chorizo, burger, cheese and Spanish rice with corn will be the first try!!
